As in good annual tradition the Gaulish Farm in Destelbergen organises an event bringing you a unique view of Iron Age life in action.

Looking for teams!
In the weekend of seven and eight July, Huis van Hilde and the Hoogoven Museum organize a public event close to Amsterdam (NL). In the context of 100 years of Tata Steel, iron furnaces will be made and used.

This is a rare opportunity to link excavation and long-term reconstruction, and a small ream of volunteers with some excavation experience are required for this collaborative project between the Dyfed Archaeological Trust and the University of Liverpool on behalf of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Reconstructions of scenes of daily life of the Celtic period by the historical reenactors.

Educational path guided through the camps.

Launch of combat axes, archery, duels between warriors.

Experimentation cycles on the art of weaving in the Celtic world; furthermore, it will be possible to engage in practical manufacturing activities on the various technologies.
